Candida depression

One of the top three symptoms of Candida overgrowth is depression. Depression can be felt or described in a number of ways:

• Sadness
• Lack of interest in things that used to be interesting, exciting or important to you
• Irritability and negativity; everything bothers you
• Inability to feel happiness or pleasure, or inability to feel much of anything
• Pessimism, hopelessness and anxiety
• Fear for the future

Depression tends to sneak up gradually, so it’s hard to pinpoint when or how it started. The depressed person will wonder what is causing these persistent bleak feelings. Occasionally depression is caused by a distinct emotionally traumatic event or situation, of which the person will almost always be aware. However, depression is very common today, and in most cases the person has no idea what is causing the sad feelings and is afraid to seek "depression treatment." In these cases, Candida overgrowth is by far the most common cause.

As Candida invades into the liver and impairs the liver’s normal function of detoxifying the blood, the blood will then carry a higher level of toxins (like acetaldehyde) than is normal. Depression is certainly a brain abnormality; however, in most cases there is nothing actually wrong with the brain. Rather, the impurity of the circulation that feeds the brain is what is causing the symptoms. It can be compared to trying to operate your computer on the wrong voltage, then wondering why nothing is working right.

Proper Candida treatment is very effective in clearing up depression and restoring a person’s bright outlook on life. A feeling of spontaneity and interest and excitement in things returns. Hope and reasons to smile come back. These improvements are usually seen within the first few days of Candida treatment, and continue from then on.
